The purpose of the Neat Streets baseline survey is for schools participating in the programme to assess the current status of litter and waste within the school and the local community. The survey should be carried out before any action plan events so as to give a true assessment of the results in the baseline survey. The survey simply assesses the weights of various waste Streams produced in the school. Only one survey is required per school. Students should work together on the survey and submit one survey.
